New Music | Birds of Satan Taylor Hawkins new “Classic Rock Project”

Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters has taken time to focus on his new side project Birds of Satan he claims he used Queen, Bowie, Wings and Janes addiction as the influence for it, and from listening to the two tracks “Thanks for the Line” and “Nothing at all” it is very evident that these bands played huge roles when it came to influencing the album, and it has certainly played off as Hawkins has created a very good Classic rock album with a modern twist. With howling solos and choir like backing vocals is an easy reminder of Queen and the vocals take a weird tone such as Bowie, for me these must be the two biggest influences in this project and it is fantastic.
